Abstract

ABSTRACT Cellular communication technology growing rapidly until now. Growrh if technology users will encourage cellular communication carriers to give their best performance and service. To handle those problems, there need to be an effective and efficient networking plans for supported areas using standard propagation model tuning. SPM used to increase the prediction accuracy of the coverage planning result. In this research, an LTE network planning will be held on 3 site at Purwokerto using Atoll 3.3 software. Measuring parameter that will be analyzed is RSRP or signal distribution value. Results of simulation have a percentage of signal from the SPM propagation model for RSRP values above -80 dBm, the difference is 4.30% with the measurement data. RSRP values ranged from -80 dBm to -95 dBm at 21.52%, -95 to -110 dBm at 25.45%, and RSRP less than -110 dBm at 0.37%.. Coverage prediction using SPM have a better result with the results of the prediction accuracy of 87% and the cost of 231 at 79%.. The level of accuracy caused by a change of K1 to K7 corrective value that compatible with criteria area of Purwokerto after tuning is done.
