Abstract

The more developed times that are followed by technological advances in the present can be used as a benchmark for people's needs for technology. One example is the growing need for internet, landline and TV, which will require fast, stable and quality access. Indihome fiber which is the latest service from PT. Telkom Access, which is a Triple Play service consisting of internet, Usee Cable TV, and home phones that use fiber optic cable as the medium of delivery is a small part of technological developments in people's lives. IndiHome fiber uses GPON network technology with data transmission media using Fiber Optic Cable (FO) which allows customers to get a maximum internet speed of up to 100 Mbps by getting super fast internet facilities, home telephones, and Cable TV that will satisfy customers. The network architecture used in IndiHome fiber is Fiber To The x (FTTx). While Speedy is one of the products of PT. Telkom Access is a copper cable high speed broadband internet access service that uses Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) technology. IndiHome Fiber download speed is faster than speedy, which is from 1.24 Mbps to 10.2 Mbps, then IndiHome Fiber's download speed increases by 8.96 Mbps. IndiHome Fiber's upload speed is also faster than speedy, from 0.38 Mbps to 3.18 Mbps, so the upload speed of IndiHome Fiber has increased by 2.8 Mbps.
