Abstract
Nowadays smartphones become one needs that can not be separated from various human activities. Now, smartphone with the sophistication can function replaces the function of a physical key or manually. It minimizes human error and improve security in the locked room nor the supporting device, especially in the telecommunications device eg MSAN device. MSAN device is an access gateway that can optimize the media access to the fiber optic transmission systems. To avoid an error and can improve security, it is in this final project is built door control system of MSAN device that in its application to use the Arduino UNO microcontroller controlled with applications on Android Smartphone communication utilizing Bluetooth and Near Field Communication (NFC). In this control system used bluetooth module HC-05 as a medium of communication to remote control in opening the door via an application on android smartphone. To lock the door used NFC Shield and NFC tag that has been integrated with microcontroller Arduino. Arduino UNO serves as the output of a servo motor controller (open and lock the door) combined with LED (Light Emitting Diode) as a visual output. On the results of tests of controls, Bluetooth communications can be connected at a distance of 16 meters with no obstructions, and if there is a barrier only at a distance of 8 meters. NFC shield can detect optimal NFC tag at a distance of 1-5 cm and at the optimum angle 0º-75º. The test results overall control system components to function properly and run as expected. Keyword : Door control, Bluetooth, NFC, smartphone, Arduino
