Abstract

During users access the internet, user does not know how much it costs and how to calculate internet pulse use volume based. The purpose of this research is to build and design application for counting of internet pulse while the users access the internet and calculates the cost of internet every KB (Kilo Byte), based on the results of bytes in and out. The counter of internet pulse based on calculation scheme of operator IM3. The methodology used for development of this software is a waterfall method. This application is created using Java programming language with IDE Eclipse 3.7.2 (Indigo), JDK 6, Android SDK and ADT plugins as debuggers and android identifier. When the handphone has been connected to the internet, then this application will start counting the cost while user access the internet. This application will display the upload, download, cost and last report of the use of user. The results from testing the application for some services use Rp 1/KB rate and Rp 2/KB rate, such as browsing obtained the total data 126,667of cost Rp 126 for 1/KB rate and total data 128,973 obtained cost Rp 257,95 for Rp 2/KB rate, so can be concluded that the application can run well and obtained the relevant cost based on the volume data.
