Abstract

The Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) is one of several choices of the Merdeka Campus program which aims to add insight into the world of work outside of ordinary lecture activities. Other programs offered by the Merdeka Campus include the Teaching Campus, Internship and Independent Study, Independent Student Exchange, Independent Entrepreneurship, and others. In this batch of the Merdeka Campus program, the author participates in activities Internship and Independent Study at PT. Ruang Raya Indonesia. In this generation, MSIB activities at PT. Ruang Raya Indonesia is further divided into two fields of activity, namely Frontend Engineering and Backend Engineering. In the activities of this generation, the author chose the field of Frontend Engineering. In MSIB activities at PT Ruang Raya Indonesia there is development soft skills and hard skills. Overall, MSIB activities at PT Ruang Raya Indonesia are carried out by participating in asynchronous learning through the LMS (Learning Management System), in which the author follows learning modules provided by partners before carrying out a given project or assignment. In one week, the mentor will conduct one-time mentoring. Mentoring aims to guide participants who have difficulty in independent learning. In the mentoring session, the mentor will briefly discuss the material being studied, participants can also ask about the difficulties experienced when studying independently.
