Abstract
The tourism sector is one of the important service economic sectors and has good prospects in Indonesia. So, it is very unfortunate if there are still tourist destinations that have not shown a role that is in line with development expectations in Indonesia, one of which is western Cilacap. The western part of Cilacap is an area that does not receive optimal attention from the Cilacap Regency Government because it is far from the central government. Therefore, even though the western part of Cilacap has many tourist attractions, its tourist attractions are still not widely known. Based on these problems, researchers have designed and built a website-based information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method through several stages, namely, requirements planning, design process and implementation or product completion by testing using black box testing and System Usability Scale (SUS). Based on the results of black box testing, the functionally created system produces 100% validity from 9 user test scenarios and 17 admin test scenarios. Then from the SUS test results, the system got a score of 72.59, which means the system is acceptable and included in the good category.
