Abstract

Rapid developments in communication technology have had a positive impact in easing human work, especially through internet access which provides accurate information. Despite this, Margasana Village, Jatilawang District, Banyumas Regency is still conventional, especially in letter requests. The problem when submitting a letter is that people who want to make a letter, people have to queue to submit documents, after their turn, the officer receives and checks the files brought by the people. People who bring complete files are accepted by officers and placed at the administration desk. Then people whose requirements are not yet complete must go home to complete the requirements first. To overcome the weaknesses in this manual system, it is necessary to create a website-based letter writing information system. This website was created using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and the Laravel Framework. Testing was carried out using a black box and calculations using descriptive analysis techniques. The result of this research is a Margasana village website which has a letter submission feature for the Margasana village community. Keywords: Application letter, Black-Box Testing, Rapid Application Development, website
