Abstract

Mountain climbing is a refreshing activity that can be a hobby for many people. The increase in interest in climbing is accompanied by an increase in the number of people climbing, making mountains a crowded place, especially in certain seasons. One of the mountains with a favorite route in Central Java is Mount Slamet via Bambangan. To climb Mount Slamet via Bambangan, climbers must come directly to the basecamp, then register by filling out a form, then make a ticket payment, and finally check the luggage by the basecamp. The whole process is still done manually, including recording and reporting climber data by the basecamp. In addition, there are still many novice climbers who only follow trends and do not know in depth about how dangerous it is to climb mountains without careful preparation. This can increase the risk of accidents during climbing. Therefore, by designing a preparation and safety management website on the ascent of Mount Slamet via Bambangan can provide complete information about climbing preparations, such as physical & mental preparation, as well as the equipment needed to improve the readiness and safety of climbers before climbing the mountain. In addition, this website can also speed up checking climbers' luggage and searching for climbers' data for the basecamp. In making this preparation and security management website for climbing Mount Slamet via Bambangan, the Scrum method is used. The Scrum method itself involves flexibility and is able to adapt to changes that occur during website development. The testing carried out in this study uses blackbox testing by testing the functionality of the website that has been made to find out whether the system is functioning as needed or not. The results of testing functionality using blackbox testing on the preparation and safety management website for climbing Mount Slamet via Bambangan have run well.
