Abstract

The National Police School (SPN) is a school intended to educate prospective police noncommissioned officers. In educating prospective police non-commissioned officers, there is a role for educators, namely Educators (Gadik). In educational activities, presence is really needed to influence the successful performance of teaching staff, especially at SPN POLDA JATENG. Currently, the attendance system at SPN POLDA JATENG is still conventional, namely that teaching staff take attendance via paper which is distributed to the Teaching Staff (Gadik Staff). Apart from that, the continuous use of paper requires time and energy, and data collection from teaching staff sometimes experiences delays. Therefore, an Android-based attendance application for teaching staff was designed. This attendance application development uses the SCRUM method. The results of this research are a presence application used for teaching staff at SPN POLDA JATENG. Testing the presence application was carried out on teaching staff using a black box. From the results of black box testing on teaching staff, a percentage result was obtained with a value of 87.5%, which means that the functionality of the presence application can run well and is very feasible.
