Abstract

Technological advancements have brought significant changes to the travel sector. Now, customers can easily obtain destination information, book tickets, and arrange accommodations quickly and efficiently through online platforms. The travel business opportunities have also expanded greatly, allowing for improved services and market share expansion. Some small to medium-sized companies still use manual sales records with invoices and agendas. This information is then collected and compiled weekly and monthly. Outrek Tour Travel, up to this point, has not maximized the use of internet technology to improve transportation services to customers. The process of managing travel and financial data still relies on manual bookkeeping, posing risks of data loss and damage, potentially affecting travel information management and financial records. The creation of this website aims to enable the company to store sales data, monitor customer data more efficiently, and conduct deeper analysis to enhance customer experience. This research method uses a design thinking approach to address issues at Outrek Tour Travel and a waterfall method for creating the Outrek Tour Travel website. The problem-solving steps involve a combination of design thinking and waterfall methods, such as empathize, define, ideate, design, prototype, test, implement, and maintenance. In line with the research objective of creating a website tailored to the company's needs, after testing the Outrek Tour Travel website using the blackbox method and achieving a 90% result, the research objective has been met, and the website meets the company's requirements. According to the second research objective of creating a database for company data storage, after testing the Outrek Tour Travel Admin Dashboard using the blackbox method and achieving a 73% result, the research objective of creating company data storage using Firebase has been achieved.
