Abstract

Case study aims to develop a comprehensive web-based design to manage vehicle loan requests and scheduling at the Logistics Unit of Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto. Background reveals that the current manual loan and scheduling processes using Microsoft Word are inefficient. The research goal is to create a more user-friendly and digitalized web-based system for vehicle borrowing. The system development approach follows the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model to address existing challenges. The system aims to replace inefficient manual processes with a reliable and easy-to-use digital system. The study is expected to optimize vehicle resource utilization at Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto and provide a replicable model for other educational institutions seeking effective vehicle management. Additionally, the system aims to enhance transparency, reducing scheduling conflicts and errors. Implementation of this system is anticipated to boost vehicle management efficiency, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness at the Logistics Unit and overall service quality at Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto.
