Abstract

CemantingArt is an ecoprint SME located in Purbalingga. The SME currently records transactions and inventory using paper, leading to data loss or damage, which impacts the accuracy of their profit and loss calculations. To address this issue, a responsive point of sales website was developed, incorporating Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to meet the SME's needs using the Extreme Programming method. The development process went through two iterations. This method involved stages of system requirements planning, system design, interface coding, functionality coding, and API integration, followed by functional, PWA, and responsive testing on each webpage using the blackbox method. Consistent successful results in each test indicate that the system functions well. The responsive website design allows users to access the application from various device sizes with a consistently good display. The PWA implementation makes it easier for users to access the website as if using an app. After testing the application, user feedback was collected and showed that the application significantly improves the ease of recording transactions and inventory, addressing the issues of data loss or damage for profit and loss reporting needs of CemantingArt.
