Abstract

Technological developments and competition in the business world have triggered business people to be able to adapt to change. Nowadays, most people prefer online shopping rather than having to take the time to go to an offline store. In this case, technology can be used as a means of selling a business called ecommerce. E-commerce is a buying and selling activity carried out online through a site or website. The aim of this research is to produce an E-commerce website that can be used to meet market demand and seek new market opportunities. The target for designing an E-commerce website is the Diom Clothing shop located in Cirebon Regency, West Java. This research was carried out using the Agile Extreme Programming method, which is a software development model with an object-oriented approach starting from planning, design, coding, testing and software increment. This website was built using Backend Hypertext Preprocessor with the Laravel Framework, Frontend CSS with the Bootstrap Framework and MySQL database. The research instrument includes website features needed by the Diom Clothing store, namely product management (categories, product details, prices, images, promotions, discount management, stock management), order management, including order search and order status updates. The resulting features of this E-Commerce application provide a lot of convenience, starting from ordering to payment and receiving payment processes along with all reports related to sales and marketing.
