Abstract

Information Systems (IS) and Information Technology (IT) have now become integral components of modern organizations. The presence of IS/IT allows businesses to simplify operational processes, improve decision making, and make a positive contribution to organizational performance. Information systems strategic planning is a key step in managing and developing an organization's information technology infrastructure. PT Bumi Intan Bercahaya is a company engaged in Construction Services which is located at Jl. Dr. Cipto No. 18, Kebonmanis, North Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java. PT Bumi Intan Bercahaya is experiencing problems in reporting and recording, the benefits of implementing SI / IT are not felt because the investment has not supported business goals. This research aims to produce an SI/TI Strategic Planning document at PT Bumi Intan Bercahaya by applying the Ward and Peppard method to serve as a guide in prioritizing SI/TI projects and overcoming SI/TI investments that support business goals. The result of this research is an IS/IT Strategic Planning document at PT. Bumi Intan Bercahaya to be used as guide in setting IS/IT project priorities and addressing IS/TI investments that support business goals with 7 proposed IS business strategies, 2 IT strategies, and 18 IS/IT management strategies.
