Abstract

Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto has an igracias application that operates the human resources department's letter of assignment. Currently, the process is still tied to a manual method that involves a number of steps, including typing the letter number, the unit concerned, identification of the signing official, the recipient of the letter, and the subject of the letter. The limited number of staff in this section is a serious obstacle, creating ineffectiveness and imperfection in carrying out the process. This research proposes an innovative solution by designing an assignment letter module using the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) approach. The analysis phase became the main solution in the development, where key entities and relationships between relations were carefully identified. The results of this analysis form the basis of a comprehensive design model, with the application of OOAD concepts. The integration of these concepts is expected to create a system structure that is more modular, flexible, and easy to understand. During this phase, the defined main modules are synergistically integrated to form a coordinated and efficient system. User feedback is conducted to ensure that each module functions according to the expected specifications.
