Abstract
This research aims to design and develop a monitoring system for a 20W polycrystalline solar panel based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system utilizes an ACS712 sensor for current measurement and an FZ0430 sensor for voltage measurement, which are tested in series and parallel configurations, respectively, to ensure accuracy and data consistency. Testing was conducted using a programmable DP832 power supply at five current points and five voltage points, with each point tested 15 times to obtain representative and reliable data. The test results indicate that the multi-point calibration applied yields satisfactory accuracy, with the ACS712 sensor achieving an accuracy of 94.87% and the FZ0430 sensor achieving 98.07%. The measurement data is displayed through an OLED 28 x 128 and integrated with the Blynk platform as the system interface, enabling real-time monitoring of the solar panel's performance. Final evaluation using Wireshark software to analyze network parameters such as throughput, delay, and packet loss indicates that the system has a throughput value of 10,791 kbps with a Tiphon index of 3, categorized as good, a delay of 0.02 ms with a Tiphon index of 4, categorized as very good degradation, and a packet loss of 15.4% with a Tiphon index of 2, categorized as minor degradation. Overall, the designed monitoring system demonstrates effective and reliable performance in monitoring the 20W polycrystalline solar panel, with the specified parameters showing adequate results for IoT applications in the context of renewable energy..
