Abstract

The development of information technology has grown rapidly and provides positive benefits in completing the work of an organization. Therefore, schools need a library system that can provide information quickly and accurately. Diponegoro High School as an educational institution has the task of managing Diponegoro High School library data in the form of archives. The library archives unit plays a role in managing various files, one of which is the student list file and book archive records. The system running in the Diponegoro High School library is a physical-based manual system where there is no database system and is still local and takes a long time to validate. The submitted files can only be inputted and validated by the library archive officer on one computer device in the office. After validation, the officer needs to provide information via instant message or email to the student. In addition, students also cannot access or monitor in real time the status of claim files that have been submitted. So a system development is needed that can make the system connected online and can provide notifications in every process. The system developed is a web-based claim file submission system equipped with notification message system. The system created can be accessed by students and library archives officers can validate and provide feedback in the form of the suitability of the inputted data. This system is able to provide convenience for submitting claim files and minimizing the occurrence of data errors. Keywords: Website, Library System, Prototyp
