Abstract

The Internet of Things is the development of an internet communication network by exchanging data so that the data will become information. The Internet of Things is becoming a very popular technology to make human work easier. Currently, many control and monitoring systems are implemented in human life as technology to help, in this case, control and monitor server rooms. The server room is a special place that functions to store servers in the form of applications and databases. The server room is the most important thing for the continuity of an information system; therefore, the server room requires good maintenance, such as monitoring the physical safety of the electrical terminals on the server so that the electrical terminals on the server do not overheat or make excessive use of electricity, and other preventions such as electrical short circuits when water droplets enter around the electrical terminals, resulting in an electric short circuit. Therefore, a control and monitoring system for electric terminals using Wemos was made to avoid electrical short circuits using several sensors, namely rain sensors, temperature sensors, and current sensors. Each sensor has good accuracy. The rain sensor provides 100% accuracy, the DHT11 temperature sensor provides 96.9% accuracy, and the ACS712 current sensor provides 79.7% accuracy. So that the electric terminal control and monitoring system can run properly and avoid short circuits at the electric terminals.
