Abstract

Internet users continue to increase by 77.02% in 2021–2022. The age range of 13 to 18 years shows the highest data has internet access. This age basically does not understand the impact of the rapid development of internet technology. Parents are the main supervisors for children in a healthy internet. One of the methods used is the packet filtering method. In this study, it used the packet filtering method on mikrotik network devices which aims to produce notifications when violations occur. The information will be received by the system administrator via Telegram. This research scenario uses the packet filtering configuration by entering the Alamat IP` to be blocked as well as the configuration to Telegram as the recIPient of the notification. In general, the study showed successful blocking of several online sites and games, and obtained slow response times for Telegram bots, with an average of 26.9 seconds for social media and 23.3 seconds for online games.
