Abstract

This research addresses the installation and maintenance of a WiFi network in the Bekasi City Mayor's Office. WiFi is a crucial technology in supporting the productivity and convenience of users in a government office environment. This study aims to understand the efficient and effective installation process of a WiFi network and maintenance strategies that ensure optimal network performance. In this research, we outline the steps for WiFi network installation, including the selection of appropriate hardware, Access Point placement pLANning, network configuration, and performance testing. Additionally, we discuss routine maintenance methods, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting techniques that may arise during network usage. The results of this research demonstrate that proper installation and regular maintenance can optimize the performance of the WiFi network in the Bekasi City Mayor's Office, enhancing data accessibility and minimizing potential disruptions or failures. These findings make a significant contribution to supporting operational efficiency and public service in a government setting.
