Abstract

Practical Work (KP) is an important part of student education to gain experience in the world of work. Practical work carried out by students is carried out at the Communication and Information Office of Tasikmalaya City. The Communication and Information Agency has the main task of assisting the Mayor in carrying out local government affairs and assistance duties in the fields of communication and informatics, statistics and coding. Where the Author is placed in the field of Application and Informatics (Aptika), In this Practical Work, the author was given the task to design and build a Web-based public information system with the theme of information and documentation management officials of Tasikmalaya City. This website assists public bodies in documenting and serving requests for information to the public. The main purpose of this Practical Work is to provide additional knowledge, insight, and experience to students, preparing them to face the world of work from Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology.
