Abstract

In recent decades, sexual violence has increased every year. Based on data compiled from the PPA SYMPHONY (Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children), in 2020 there were 8,216 cases of sexual violence. This figure continues to soar to 10,328 cases in 2021. What's even sadder is that this violence also occurs in the realm of tertiary institutions with sexual violence ranking first. There needs to be prevention and handling steps to overcome sexual violence that is rife in tertiary institutions. One of the steps taken was to design an application user interface design as a blueprint to help deal with sexual violence in tertiary institutions, especially the Telkom Institute of Technology, Purwokerto. This Final Project is designing a "User interface Application for Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in IT Telkom Purwokerto". This research aim to design user interface Saling Lindungi application as a prevention and treatment of sexual violence at tehe Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto using design thinking method.The subjects involved were the academicians of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology. It is hoped that the user interface design for the Mutual Protect Application can be the first step in helping to prevent and deal with sexual violence at the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology.
