Abstract

As the development of information technology has affected various aspects of publik services. Publik service is an activity or series of activities in the context of fulfilling service needs in accordance with statutory regulations for every citizen and resident for goods, services and/or administrative services provided by publik service providers. At Class IIB Narcotics Prison Purwokerto the service for registration of visits is still carried out manually, namely visitors are required to come first to the prison. The service will be carried out by means of visitors registering with the administration and then choosing a schedule for the visit provided that the inmates visited also agree with the visit. This is felt to be ineffective, so it is necessary to design a website-based application for visiting services so that publik services are more satisfying for the community and more effective. The design of this website-based application is made using the programming language in Visual Studio Code, and the database is MySQL. With the final results achieved in designing a website-based application, it has the advantage of making it easier for users to make visit reservations and increasing efficiency in publik services, especially at the Class IIB Narcotics Prison, Purwokerto.
