Abstract
Hobbies of every human being are certainly different, such as one of them is raising animals. The purpose of raising animals is none other than to get entertainment and fun. Based on data obtained from insight.rakuten.com, the number of animal ownership in Indonesia has increased. The increasing number of animal ownership certainly cannot be separated from the role of petshops. Petshop is a place for selling animals and pet needs themselves. In Purwokerto City, there are already many pet shops, so that animal owners can meet the needs of their animals. However, from the questionnaires that have been conducted, there are still many people in Purwokerto City who find it difficult to find a petshop that suits their needs. This is due to the limited information about the services available at the petshop. Utilization of geographic information systems can be used by the public in searching and finding complete information about petshops in Purwokerto City. This is because GIS can visualize data, modify the size, shape, color, and symbol of the information contained in a location. The development of this system applies the rapid application development method. The RAD method is a system development method that focuses on short life development. Then testing of the system is carried out when development has been completed. The blackbox method is used to test the functionality of the system. The results of the blackbox test show that 87.5% of the system's functionality can run as it should. Keywords : Blackbox, Petshop, RAD, Geograpic Information System
