Abstract
Monitoring system on kendang fertilizer is needed to obtain maximum results, especially for agriculture. Around 80% of the population in Melung Village are side goat breeders, in that case it could be a large production of manure, but the farmers in Melung Village are still not able to take advantage of the existing manure. Some aspects that need to be considered in using manure are humidity, temperature, and light intensity. This tool aims to design a tool that can determine humidity, temperature, and light intensity. The tools and materials used are Arduino UNO, Soil Moisture, DHT-11, and Photoresistor. There are 3 results obtained in this study, namely testing in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The value of humidity in the morning is 46% RH, temperature is 25.30 oC, and light intensity is 478 cd. The value of daytime humidity is 41% RH, temperature is 30.90 oC, and light intensity is 789 cd. The value of humidity at night is 54% RH, temperature is 27.90 oC, light intensity is 30 cd. The results of these 3 experiments are more optimally used in the morning where the standard humidity value that must be maintained is in the range of 40%-60%, temperature 28-30 oC, light intensity 0-1023 cd. From the results of the data obtained that the measurement of the soil moisture sensor with a hygrometer comparison gets an average percentage error of 0.21% and the measurement of the DHT-11 sensor with a hygrometer comparison gets an average percentage error of 1%. This system can help farmers make it easier to make better manure and can maintain the humidity and temperature values in the fertilizer.
