Abstract
In the rapid development of technology, it greatly affects life today, especially in the field of communication. Visible Light Communication can be a solution in light communication, with relatively good security and plus speeds of 400 THz to 800 THz. This study was conducted using several scenarios, namely: first comparing the wavelengths of 460 nm, 550 nm and 700 nm and secondly comparing the angle of the room used from 15o , 30o , 45o and 63.5o by analyzing the maximum distance for each BER and Q-Factor value. . The results of the data obtained using the Optisystem software show that using a wavelength of 460 nm to get the farthest distance compared to using a wavelength of 550 nm and 700 nm and at an angle of 15o space is the best angle compared to a room angle of 30o , 45o and 63.5o . In this comparative study, the best performance of the VLC system according to the ITUT standard is at a wavelength of 460 nm with an angle of 15o , where the BER value is 1.23948-32 and the Q-factor is 11.7867 with a maximum distance of 45 meters. As for the unsatisfactory results from the comparison of the VLC system, there is a wavelength of 700 nm with an angle of 63.5o , where the BER value is 523066-31 and the Q-factor is 11.4752 with a maximum distance of 10 meters.
