Abstract

Cepek Cell is a shop that sells various cellphone accessories. Currently, the promotion and advertising process is still using print media or manually, where customers see directly the collections available in the store. This method is very ineffective, as evidenced by interviews with shop owners, it is known that the goods sold are minimal and the sales turnover is low. Based on these problems in this study, an online catalog website was designed by utilizing the Laravel 7.1 framework. The website is expected to help promote products, expand the scope of sales so as to provide benefits for customers and stores. The website is built using the PHP programming language with MySql as the database. The software development model used is Rapid Applications Development (RAD), the reason for choosing this development model is the speed in the application development process. Application testing is carried out on a website that has been built, the testing method used is the black box method with beta type, which aims to determine the functionality of the website. The features tested were 9 features, namely accessing the main page, login feature, registration feature, product page access feature, product detail page access feature, product rating feature, product review feature, profile page editing feature, contact page access feature. The number of respondents involved in the test was 10 users. The results of the test show that all features run as expected so that it can be concluded that the website is running well. The developed website still has shortcomings for developer suggestions, then transaction features for customers or guests can be added and financial report features can be added.
