Abstract

It is undeniable that the existence of a website today is very important. It is no wonder that the growth in the number of websites is increasing, especially ecommerce and online news websites. With the advantage that it can be accessed anytime and anywhere, the website has become a part of human life. The website has a function, namely to find information about trade, news, education, company information and others. In this study, the author uses LAMP Server to manage the web server, because it is known to have powerful features and performance. In addition, the database security system is good and can be adapted to the user so that the development process can be faster. The author found that the web server works if there is a request from the client which then the web server provides information according to the client's request. Accessing this database will be easier to do through the phpMyAdmin page than through the linux terminal using MySQL queries, because if you go through the phpMyAdmin page the user does not need to memorize every command or query to perform certain functions. LAMP has several benefits, including: a database system that has a fairly good level of security, an easy and fast development and configuration process, and can also be adapted to the needs of developers.
