Abstract

In government organizations there are several fields that were established to build a country such as education, economics, social, culture and law. Education is the most important element in Indonesia to create an intelligent society in accordance with the 1945 Constitution and reading is one of the basic things in education that must be a top priority in life. One of the supports from the government, especially in the field of education, is the availability of libraries that can provide literacy benefits to the wider community to increase interest in reading. The existence of libraries in Indonesia is regulated and managed by the Regional Archives and Libraries Service which is engaged in education and social fields. The Regional Archives and Libraries Service provides a variety of services that can help fulfill the wishes of the community in accordance with the function of the library. In addition, the Regional Archives and Library Office of Banyumas Regency also carries out library administration activities such as other public libraries carried out by librarians. The library administration implemented at the Regional Archives and Library Office of Banyumas Regency aims to monitor all activities within the organization as well as evaluate activities that are running and not running according to procedures and assisting in the preparation of activities both in the educational and social fields.
