Abstract
Betta fish is an ornamental fish that is in great demand in Indonesia because of its charming color, so it is widely cultivated in the community. The pH level and water temperature have an effect on Betta fish breeding. Betta fish cultivators still rely on instinct when breeding Betta fish. For that we need a system that can monitor the pH and temperature of the water in Betta fish breeding. Where information from the pH sensor and water temperature received by the microcontroller will be sent to the website application using the MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) protocol. The purpose of this study was to create a system capable of monitoring water pH and temperature in betta fish farming using the MQTT protocol. This research method uses the prototype method. The results of this study resulted in a breeding monitoring system for betta fish that was able to monitor pH and water temperature in betta fish culture using the MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) protocol by displaying pH and temperature results in the Thingspeak application. Keyword : Betta fish, pH, Temperature
