Abstract

The increasing number of Internet users is a communication technology that is increasingly developing, with the increase of the Internet, of course, it must match a smooth network speed and be able to cover a large area. For that it is very necessary to do a Drive Test. Drive Test is one of the first steps in carrying out the process of optimizing a cellular network, the drive test aims to find and analyze measurement data from information in the form of internet signals that are carried out both mobile and statically. In carrying out the drivetest process, of course, you need several additional tools, including: a laptop with genex probe software, Samsung Galaxy 5 cellphone, HAS4 Dongle, and G-STAR IV GPS, several additional devices such as a USB cable, inverter charger and a car as a drivetest vehicle. In this study, the authors discuss the optimization of the 4G LTE network in the regions Sungai Buntu, Karawang on the Telkomsel service provider. And for network quality in the area Sungai Buntu, Karawang is already fairly good, seen from the results of the parameters during DriveTest. Keywords : DriveTest, 4G LTE, Genex Probe
