Abstract
4G LTE network services in Indonesia are currently developing very fast, this is in line for Indonesia towards a better, faster and more stable internet connection. In addition, Indonesia also has a target for 4G LTE connections for all regions in Indonesia. To enjoy 4G LTE service, a device that supports 4G LTE network technology is needed, such as a smartphone and SIM card used. All cellular operators in Indonesia have used 4G LTE network technology for their data services, for example operators such as Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo, XL, Smartfren, and H3I. The 4G LTE network in each of these operators still has many obstacles in various areas that can reduce internet connection for data services to users. Therefore, to measure the performance of data services on the 4G LTE network in the city of Yogyakarta by comparing the 5 4G network mobile operators, namely Telkomsel, XL, Indosar Ooredoo, Smartfren and HCPT 3. Measurements are made in terms of 4G signal coverage, quality 4G signal and data speed using the results of the Drive Test that was carried out previously in the city of Yogyakarta. The results of the Technology Mode parameters for the five cellular operators in the city of Yogyakarta, Telkomsel, XL, H31, and Smartfren operators have a 100% percentage value for the 4G LTE network while Indosat Ooredoo operator has a percentage value of 96.59% for 4G LTE and 3.41% for WCDMA network. The result of measuring the quality of the 4G LTE signal using the Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) parameter is Telkomsel with a percentage value of 96.20%. In second place is HCPT 3 with a percentage value of 88.29%. Then the third place is from the XL operator with a percentage value of 62.71%. Furthermore, the fourth place is from Smartfren with a percentage value of 61.32%. And finally there is Indosat with a percentage value of 52.95%. Finally, the measurement results for data transfer speed using the throughput parameter between 5 operators averaged at each point of the crowd in the city of Yogyakarta - successively from the highest are Telkomsel, XL, Indosat, H3I and finally there is Smartfren. Keywords : 4G LTE Network, Cellular Technology, Quality, Data Speed, Drive Test Benchmark
