Abstract

Today, the necessity of telecommunications in the community is incressing. The requirement of data that sent and received are closely related to the performance of the router device, especially on the Mikrotik router. If there us a derivation of the performance or even damage, then the stability of service would be disrupted and the process of exchanging information would be disrupted. The method to overcome the connection problems is by checking the Mikrotik device and handling the problems itself. There were two problems that frequently happens on the Mikrotik device. The firs was the increasing of device’s temperature that exceed the standard set by Mikrotik -300C until 600C. The second problem is a malware attack that makes Mikrotik could not be controlled from device. Therefore, there is a repairing process on the Mikrotik device to stabilize the performance of device and to fast the communication. Keywords: maintenance, repair, instability, mikrotik, temperature
