Abstract
Water quality is very important for the development and health of shrimp vaname. To observe the quality of the water pond shrimp vaname, it is necessary to monitor pH, water temperature and salinity periodically. In the process of measuring water pH the shrimp farmers usually use the manual way to measure the pH content by using digital pH meter or litmus paper. As for water temperature measurements using a thermometer and for the measurement of salt content using a salinity meter. The normal pH content of the water is 6-9 while the vaname shrimp is better at a pH of 7.5-8.5. Good water temperature for shrimp growth, which ranges from 28-31 0C and the ideal salt level for the vaname shrimp is around 15- 25 ppt. The use of pH monitoring systems, salt levels and water temperature automatically and in real time is expected to help farmers Water quality Monitor. With this system set up shrimp Vaname farmers can monitor the quality of aquaculture water without having to come to the cultivation site. Simply by installing and running the monitoring application in the Android Smarthphone then the quality of the water measured will be displayed, thereby saving time as well as costs incurred and of course more efficient. At the temperature test performed at the location of the pond Shrimp Vaname can be deduced the average test error value of 1.8495%. At the test of the pH performed at the location of pond Shrimp Vaname obtained the average error value of the test is 0.4085%. From the test results of salt/salinity conducted at the site of Shrimp Pond Vaname obtained the average error value of the test is 0818%. From the throughput test, it obtained an average throughput value of 0102 Kbps with an average delay of 8.40 seconds. Keywords: PH, salinity, water temperature, android, realtime
