Abstract
The development of computer networks is currently growing rapidly and in telecommunications technology, voice communication is a very important thing in people's lives. This has led to the presence of VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology, making it possible to pass voice traffic through computer networks. At this time VoIP technology has become more advanced so that it can be used as the most efficient means of voice communication and one of the cheap technologies. At PT. Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang communication is a very important thing for smooth work processes, therefore PT. Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang utilizes the VoIP technology. VoIP technology is used to facilitate internal communication between divisions in the company and VoIP technology is also used in communication with the Darajat PLTP Unit and Mount Salak PLTP Unit. Because the main server is in the Kamojang Unit, the installation of new VoIP devices can only be done in the Kamojang Unit only, for the Darajat Unit it is still unable to make VoIP devices themselves because the Darajat Unit does not have its own server. So that the Darajat Unit can make its own VoIP device, a new server should be created. The VoIP server used at PT. Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang is a Briker IPPBX VoIP server that is open source.
