Abstract
Carrier Aggregation (CA) is LTE-Advaced network technology from the 4th generation network. CA network technology is a technology that can overcome the current bandwidth spectrum problem. As we know, spectrum is a limited resource in the field of telecommunications. With this CA technology, can increase the throughput value obtained by user customers by utilizing the available spectrum. The concept of CA is to combine several carrier signals into one user. In this research CA will be implemented using the concept of interband with Atoll 3.3.0 supporting software. In this study the CA 1800 MHz design will be carried out with a bandwidth of 5 Mhz and a frequency of 900 MHz with a bandwidth of 10 MHz in the city of Purwokerto. For the CA design, a new network design will be carried out with the existing 1800 MHz site reference. In addition to the progress of the times, we provide an analysis of the use of MVNO, a virtual network rental system. The MVNO Traffic load distribution scenario is 40% and MNO is 60%. In this study produced RSRP without CA of 57.1 dBm, using CA of -9.43 dBm, and using CA with MVNO of 9.43 dBm. CINR results without using CA 9.83 dB, using a CA of 12.84 dB, and using CA with MVNO of 12.84 dB. Throughput results without using CA 7,269.96 Mbps, using a CA of 13,574.83 Mbps, and using CA with MVNO of 5,445.01 Mbps. 5. From the research shows the MVNO has good power with interference signals from good carriers as well. But to pass through has decreased compared to the scenario without CA. Keyword: CA, MVNO, Atoll, Traffic Load, RSRP, CINR, dan Troughput.
