Abstract
High speed ands quality service at this time be a need for customers from the service Long Term Evolution Network (LTE). With service providers should provide infrastructure that has the reliability of the system to provide a good service. As for setting up a network infrastructure eNodeB, these networks need a backhaul to the infrastructure can accommodate. Backhaul has an important role because it can affect the performance of a network. This research was conducted on the design of Microwave Backhaul Links to radio communications in the town of Purwokerto. The design was done by reviewing the link traffic capacity requirements on LTE networks, then the frequency determined by distance and bandwidth based on the capacity of the link. Referring to those needs, the microwave was chosen as the backhaul as it has a large range and easy installation. On the results of the research gets an FSL approaching value calculation in the FSL with a difference that is not much different. The value of getting a good result RSL that is above the value of the received sensivity-62 dBm. The value of availability per-year to 38 Ghz frequency with a total of 28 links links get average availability on microwave links of 99.9998% those values results values objective that is 99.999% availability. 23 Ghz frequency with a total of 4 link gets an average of 99.997% availability. These values did not reach the required value but not much different denang values availability objective. To 11 Ghz frequency with a total of 2 links get the 99.9999% of the average value of the good. Thus the results of microwave links obtained can be applied applied in the town of Purwokerto.
