Abstract

ABSTRACT The study conducted a simulation to determine the impact of the difference in Power Allocation in Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) with Succesive Interference Cancelation (SIC). NOMA is a system that allows the use of the same time frequency resource by multi-user. NOMA uses the superposition code (SC) on the transmitter side and the Succesive Interference Cancelation (SIC) on the receiver Sis. NOMA has two categories: Power domain (PD) and code domain (CD). In this research PD-NOMA simulated for the downlink direction. The number of users who use the same resource block is two with the condition of one user to apply SIC and another without SIC, depending on the value of the Chanel gain from each user. By applying the superposition code to the transceiver and SIC sides of the receiver as a cancellation of interference. The comparison of the send power used in this study was 0, 2dB: 0, 8dB; 0, 3dB: 0, 7dB; 0, 4dB: 0.6 dB; 0, 45dB: 0, 55dB. Allocating the send power based on the value of the gain channel of each user, where the user with a low gain channel will be allocated a high send power, and vice versa for users with high channel gain value will be allocated the Send power Low. Get the best vs SNR BER When using the comparison of send power of 0, 45dB: 0, 55dB. The value of a send power ratio of 0, 45dB: 0, 55dB is used to simulate speed variations. The value of the variation in speed used is 40km/h, 60km/h, 80km/h and 100km/h. Keywords: Orthogonal Frequency Multiple Access, Non Orthogonal Multiple Access, Power Allocation, Succesive Interference Cancelation
