Abstract
The purpose ofwriting this paper is to find the solution how to control the use of electrical equipments daily, partiiularly in campus building, which so far is still done manually, which is spending much time and inefficient, using the Raspberry Pi (one ofmicrocontroller types) that functions as the central of control and monitoring of eiectrical equipments in the Telkom's Telematics School of Engineering University, within one SinglJBoard Computer. Raspberry Pi is one of microcontroller type that has many functions, one of them is as a web server. By using the GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) on the Raspberry Pi, every eleckical equipment can be controlled and monitored, by means of communicating between electrical equipments with Raspberry Pi via TCP/P and HTTP. Moreover used relays that serve as an electronic switih that will turn on or turn offthe electrical equipments. Based on the conclusion, that the control and monitoring of electrical equipments are running well, with 3 outputs such as: lamp, air conditioning, and TV ur a*orrr"ement display. GPIO pins which arc actlated can send instructions appropriately, so that electrical devices can be controlled and monitored automatically. Keywords: General Purpose Input Output (GPIO), Raspberry Pi, Web server, Electrical equipments
