Abstract

In this era of rapidly developing technology. Everyone relies heavily on internet services to get information or send information. While in Indonesia alone there are still many areas that have not been reached by internet services, both with copper or fiber optic cable network media. VSAT service (Very Small Aperture Terminal) is a satellite communication technology that uses an antenna with a diameter of less than 3 meters that can transmit and receive signals from satellites. VSAT technology in Indonesia is very suitable to be implemented because Indonesia has a very wide area and has thousands of islands that are difficult to reach by microwave communication and cable network technology. VSAT technology uses 3 important components namely HUB Station, Remote Station, and Satellite. VSAT IP for internet services must fulfill two important requirements, namely transmit and receive.
