Abstract
In this increasingly modern era, monitoring systems and security of Internet of Things-based smart homes are needed to minimize a crime occurring within the home. IoT devices provide the potential to obtain data contextually, by observing and measuring physical events that occur in the surrounding environment. Rumah Cerdas is an area of great interest by IoT device developers. The purpose of this Final Project is to design a monitoring system and home based on Node Mcu Esp8266 with a button as control of the tool. Node Mcu has the function to process input data that has been received and forwarded to the device concerned for a response. In designing this system there are several parts including the Node Mcu Esp8266 microcontroller, LDR sensor, PIR sensor, Buzzer, LED, Relay and also smartphone as the controlling medium for designing this tool, where esp8266 Node Node processes or sends data to the sensor. A sign of a movement of a warning sound signal on the buzzer occurs when the PIR detects moving objects in the surrounding area. The measurement of the power supply at the datasheet voltage is 5 volts with a measurement value of 4.7 volts and an error percentage value of 6%. When the active buzzer voltage is based on the theory of 5 volts, the measurement result is 3.25 volts so the error value is generated by 0.35%, while when the buzzer is inactive the voltage of the theory and the measurement result is 0 volts with an error value of 0%. In measuring the value of delay and throughput the greatest throughput value is obtained at a distance of 13 at 1699 bits / s and the highest delay value at a distance of 24 meters is 0.61 ms. Keywords: Node Mcu Esp8266, Buzzer, Relay, Internet Of Things, Smarth ome Smartphone.
