Abstract
Along with the development of telecommunications technology is currently increasing. Competition between operators and telecom vendors in providing a telecommunications technology that is safe, fast, and has some usefulness to encourage the development of telecommunications technology. Next Generation Network (NGN) is a technology that has the future of services such as voice, data, multimedia and the Internet. The most important thing is the concept of convergence and NGN IP-based service that takes a technology known as IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). In order for the delivery of data in IMS services to be more efficient it is necessary to use queuing theory. In this research will be carried out observations of IMS service parameters by using three different queuing theory is First In First Out (FIFO), Priority Queuing (PQ), and Weighted Fair Queuing-(WFQ). Making simulation in this research using Opnet Modeler 14.5 software. Observations will be made that the services include video conferencing and VoIP. From the simulation results can be seen that WFQ queuing theory on video conferencing services generate average delay of 9.22 ms, delay variation of 0.036 ms and packet loss of 0.88%. For VoIP services generate average delay of 144 ms, delay variation of 0.021 ms, and packet loss of 0.05% and generate average throughput of 7.052 Mbps, so that appropriate queuing theory used in the IMS network is WFQ. Keywords: IMS, Queuing Theory, Video Conference, VoIP, Opnet Modeler 14.5
