Abstract
Traffic density is a problem that is hard to avoid especially in big cities, the density is sometimes uncertain (not solid to solid or otherwise). So that a conventional traffic light junction is difficult to regulate the experience level of an arbitrary density. These problems the authors seek to imitate the workings of a settlement with the Police to build a system that can be an invaluable tool in managing traffic using visual basic 6.0 program. The system to be designed in this study is to create a system that is able to adapt and adjust to the traffic density. And have the ability as a traffic light management system in the form of visualization. Traffic lights control system using Visual Basic 6.0 is designed to have two inputs and one output using if-then rules with the operator "and" at both inputs. Input the amount of time on a track that is being regulated and the amount of time on the other line, and output in the form of a long green light on the pathways that are regulated and the duration of the red light came on the track while waiting for the yellow light is on is considered constant. Advantage of traffic lights based on Visual Basic 6.0 is the regulation of attention to the density of vehicles on the track set. Keyword : conventional, visual of basic 60, traffic light management system
