Abstract
SMS (Short Message Service) is a feature on the phone most frequently used by users from all backgrounds and ages. This is because the SMS feature is considered more practical and economical, especially with many free SMS offer from the mobile operator. Currently developing an SMS server application that allows sending messages to many people who have been enrolled in the service. In education, SMS Server application can be utilized to improve the information about the activities of educational services. In the university, SMS Server can be used to improve service information about lecture schedules and practicum schedules. In Akatel environment, SMS server apllication can be used for information about practical activities, such as practical schedule, format report, advice. With this SMS practical service can simplify sending practical information to students. Keyword : SMS, SMS Server, Service Information.
