Abstract
ABSTRACT Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a crucial factor in maintaining employee well-being and company productivity. The implementation of OHS is of paramount importance in a workplace and is a mandatory right for construction workers that must be fulfilled by a company. PT Duta Hita Jaya still needs improvement in its implementation of OHS as set by management, resulting in workplace accidents that impact worker safety. Research was conducted using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to determine the extent of productivity in implementing OHS at PT Duta Hita Jaya. The FTA method is used to examine reliability and demonstrate cause-and-effect relationships between one event and subsequent events. The research results show an increased frequency rate of accidents occurring in January (4.8), March (4.8), April (3.8), and May (4.8). However, the severity level of workplace accidents decreased from January to August, accompanied by an increase in worker productivity at PT Duta Hita Jaya. The root causes of workplace accidents were identified using FTA, concluding that during the months of September to December, there was a decrease in accidents due to some workers already using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Recommendations include improving the OHS system for future projects after the construction of PT Duta Hita Jaya to enhance worker awareness of safety at work.
