Abstract
Conventional academic data processing in the field of education is no longer sufficient to improve the quality of education, including in one of the elementary schools in Tambak District, Banyumas Regency which is a public elementary school and currently does not have an online academic information system. This study aims to create an academic information system to handle the academic process of SD Siwarak Wetan Elementary School in Tambak District, Banyumas Regency using the waterfall method and to conduct a final evaluation of the academic information system using User Acceptance Testing (UAT) technique, so that the academic information system can be well received by SD Negeri Siwarak Wetan. The creation of the academic information system website for SD Negeri Siwarak Wetan uses the waterfall development method which is divided into five stages: requirement analysis, design, implementation, software testing, and maintenance. The requirement analysis is divided into several stages such as identifying a problem, literature review to find references, data collection, and analysis which is to create the framework of the academic information system and design the database, then it is implemented using PHP and CodeIgniter programming languages, with each design being tested using black-box testing method to ensure that each design is suitable and functioning properly. In the end, this study can produce an information system that can handle user needs, namely teachers and operators of SD Negeri Siwarak Wetan, as well as a final evaluation of how the academic information system works using the UAT method with a total percentage of 77.00% which falls in the agree category.
