Abstract

Kaledupa Island is one of the islands in Wakatobi Regency which has great tourism potential. However, some people do not know the location and profile of tourist attractions and souvenir centers. Kaledupa Island tourism is less well known by the public, so there are less visits and less income. The development of today's technology should make the dissemination of information about tourist attractions easy with a little information. Geographic Information System (GIS) is an information technology that can be used to promote the tourist attraction of Kaledupa Island. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a type of information system that uses maps as an interface to display information in graphical form. GIS consists of the notion of layers and relationships. Therefore, researchers want to create a "Design of a Tourism Geographic Information System Website for Wakatobi National Park Management Section for National Park Region Ii on Kaledupa Island". It will solve that problem by using Agile method as development method, Laravel as structure, LeafletJS to display map, and Google Maps to find tourist sites. Black-box test results get 77%. This research and design can provide a tourist profile of Kaledupa Island, maps, locations, hotels, and souvenir centers.
