Abstract

The development of frameworks in web application development is very rapid, especially on the back side (server) of web development or what is commonly called the backend. Some programming languages offer frameworks that have their own advantages such as the Python programming language which offers a web application development framework, namely Django with the advantages of fast development, fast licensing, and scalability. From the preparation of this report, it was useful as a foundation for friends to implement backend framework technology in the Python programming language. The data collection process is carried out by researching several related sources regarding modules in the Django framework. In the research process, it was carried out by looking for sources of information about the Django framework to support the design of the Torche Education class registration application. Sources of information are collected to be a reference for application development. Torche Education class registration application development is carried out in the internship process at the company related to the development of the application according to previously determined working hours. The start of the development of the Torche Education class registration application was carried out with research on modules in the Django framework for registration application development. Followed by the implementation of the framework and integrating the application to several platforms such as Google Drive, Discord, and Gmail. Based on the application development above, backend framework technology has been implemented in Python programming, namely Django. From the results of application development, results and benefits can be achieved that can be useful to facilitate related parties in the process of recruiting students in class registration and make it easier for users to get information quickly.
