Abstract

The application of information technology in companies is an important aspect in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's business. The application of information technology must be continuously monitored and managed to minimize threats that may occur in business processes. The IT and ERP units in the IT sub-section at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII are units that manage the application of information technology, maintain information technology devices, carry out repairs from the risk of damage to information technology devices. Incorrect maintenance of information technology devices can create risks for the IT Unit and ERP IT sub-department. Therefore, to avoid and minimize the risks that can occur, it is necessary to have risk management in the maintenance of IT devices. This research was conducted to analyze IT risk management for IT equipment maintenance using Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) and Qualitative Risk Analysis at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII. The Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) method is a risk analysis method for expressing impacts and probabilities using numerical figures. While the Qualitative Risk Analysis method is used to seek recommendations for IT entity threats and risks. This research was conducted to find out what aspects and risks have the most influence so that further control action priorities can be determined.
