Abstract

Death and birth data is very important in a village to determine population data in the village. Sokaraja Lor village is a village located in the district of Sokaraja Lor where in the structure of Sokaraja Lor village birth and death records are given to kayim (people who take care of the deaths of Sokaraja Lor residents). And the death and birth registration system is still manual using a big book so that existing data is easily damaged and scattered and unclear writing makes the data difficult to read, so it is necessary to make a system for recording deaths and births. The output of the death and birth registration system is a death certificate and a birth certificate. This study resulted in a death and birth registration information system, which aims to improve village services and make it easier for the government to analyze death and birth data in a village. This death and birth registration system is designed using the waterfall method and is website-based. The information system that has been designed and implemented in the village of Sokaraja Lor will be tested for features with black box unit testing with one of the employees in the village of Sokaraja Lor. The final conclusion is that the system can work properly so that it can make it easier for the village government to manage death and birth data.
